Instant Radiance Highlighter

17 Mar 2015

Today I thought I would do a beauty post as the past few have all been very fashion-orientated and there is no better product to discuss than one of my absolute favourites at the moment - the No 7 Instant Radiance highlighter. Now, I'm not an expert on make up but I love talking about it so I thought I would give writing about it a go.

I've had this product for quite a while now but recently I've been very much into it. It is a champagne coloured highlighter in a creamy stick form which twists up and is extremely easy to apply. All you need to do is lightly sweep it onto your cheekbones - a little goes a long way - and then pat/blend it in. The swatch in the image above shows it without being blended. Though it looks glittery in the packaging and before blending it actually provides a really subtle shimmer, the name doesn't lie, it really does make your skin instantly look radiant and catches in the light beautifully. Another place I like to use this highlighter sometimes is on the cupid's bow to accentuate the lips as like I previously said it's very subtle but gives a nice effect. I

I've been using this product every day without fail for the past couple of months, even in a rush, as it definitely replaces any dullness or dryness of my skin in the mornings with a nice glow. Additionally, it lasts throughout the day without disappearing and it works well alongside blusher or bronzer but equally it defines the face without needing to contour if you're rubbish at it like me. I much prefer this formula to any highlighter I've tried, including MAC Soft & Gentle which I also love, because it looks much more natural on the skin than powder. I think it would look great on lots of skin tones but it would be perfect with a tan.

For only £9.95 I would definitely recommend this if you're looking to try a new highlighter or wanting to use it for the first time. As I'm loving using this so much I am really interested in trying some more No 7 make up as it's not a brand I usually buy from, so if you have any recommendations please feel free to comment and tell me!

  2. Hiya, I’m really glad I’ve found this info. Nowadays bloggers publish just about gossip and net stuff and this is really irritating. A good site with exciting content, this is what I need. Thank you for making this website, and I’ll be visiting again. Do you do newsletters by email?
